Other Services
Service to Mankind in Monument Hill takes many forms, including the ones shown below...

The annual Empty Bowl Dinnerhelps Tri-lakes cares fill the food pantry. Sertomans also deliver holiday food baskets at Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Twice each year, members conduct a highway clean-up along two miles of Interstate 25 on the Palmer Divide. In effect, they stoop to conquer... and the member finding the most interesting piece of rubbish (based on member vote) is crowned MHS Highwayman for the ensuing six months.

MHS also takes an avid interest in the environment. Members participate in various outdoor activities and a group: the 14-ers scale (or attempt to scale) 14,000-foot peaks in the state, Rafters challenge the white water abounding in our area, and still others go camping as a group. Here Rich Rima models the latest Colorado outdoor fashion.
